Indicators include women's participation rate in the labor force and the proportion of the total labor force comprised of women, women's literacy rate and the percent of women enrolled in school, women's life expectancy, the average fertility rate, whether women are enfranchised and the year of enfranchisement, and the percent of seats in the national legislature and executive cabinet occupied by women.
