Why do an Honors Thesis?
- This is one of the key "power" avenues which can be helpful for entrance to graduate, law, and other professional schools. It can be an excellent way to develop the research, writing, and critical thinking skills needed for these directions.
- You will have an opportunity to become acquainted with professors through a close working relationship.
- You can apply for financial awards to cover such items as research, travel and copy costs.
Benefits of the 683/684 Option:
- You will learn about a variety of professors and their research projects.
- You can use the 683/684 option to develop a sense of camaraderie and peer-support with other students. You will participate in a unique enterprise by working with your peers with the same interests.
- You will not lose your opportunity to work with other professors. Learning can continue in a collective setting. While formally registered in 683 and 684, you can still seek advice from other faculty members.
