The Political Science Major
The University of Wisconsin Political Science Department is one of the nation's oldest and highest ranked political science departments in the country. Members of the faculty are leading scholars in their respective fields. Our department is large and intellectually diverse with an atmosphere of tolerance, rigor, and collegiality. Our department also takes pride in its strong teaching reputation; reflecting an ideal balance between excellent research and teaching.
