John Witte
He has a joint appointment with the Robert M. LaFollette School of Public Affairs. His research and teaching interests include democratic theory, American politics and public policy, and organizational theory. In recent years he has been at the center of a national debate over educational vouchers and school choice. In addition to numerous journal articles in a number of disciplines, his most recent books are Choice and Control in American Education, The Politics and Development of the Federal Income Tax, The Market Approach to Education: An Analysis of America's First Voucher Program.
