Department support of Great People Scholarship initiative
One of the University's major development goals at present is raising funds for the Great People campaign, which provides need-based scholarships for undergraduates. The Department of Political Science has some scholarships that take need into account, thanks to our generous alumni. In addition, this summer Professors Ken Goldstein, Melanie Manion, and Jon Pevehouse spoke at the Sincere and Company Symposium on the Future, an annual gathering in Chicago for investment and financial services professionals. The event raised $14,000 (and counting) for the Roy L. Komack Great People Scholarship. The Department is pleased to help with this University initiative.
