Epstein Conference

Politics Through the Lens of Parties

April 27, 2007 - Fluno Center - UW Madison

Dedicated to the memory of Leon Epstein.

Our goal for this conference is to not only honor Leon, but for it to be a conference that he would have been delighted to attend. The conference will not be about Leon, but the panel chair will begin each panel with an overview of how Leon's work speaks to the subject matter of that particular panel. After the paper presentations, we encourage discussions with the panel and audience. At the close of each panel, we hope to call on Leon's friends for some thoughts or memories on Leon and the panel subject matter.

UW Political Science Department's statement of remembrance of Leon.
